Jennifer Co. Academy of Dance

Jennifer & Company began with a prayer and a push during the fall of 1997. Jennifer was preparing to embark upon her first year of college at the University of Memphis, where she would later earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication, when her Aunt Janice Mitchell encouraged her to start using her God given talent of teaching dance. Her pastor Reverend Basil Brooks also asked her to start teaching dance at the church. While others gently pushed Jennifer prayed and the Jennifer & Co Academy of Dance was born. Although the first year's enrollment was only two students, Jennifer continued with the program. In 1999 Brown Baptist Church in Southaven, Mississippi came aboard and Jennifer & Company had its first dance recital. Now all of the classes are held at the New Bethel Baptist Church's dance room in Germantown, TN.

Students at Jennifer & Company develop poise, self-esteem and discipline all  while learning ballet and tap. With Godly principals and a focus on positive attitudes Jennifer waters the seed of success within each student with faith that they will become all that God purposed for them in life.
